Hello, my ancestors are Ograms and Milners from the Dalton/Driffield/Nafferton areas. I believe that William Ogram was a tailor in North Dalton c. 1770, and he may have kept the Inn there. Any information on Ograms or Milners in this area is most appreciated.

Do you have any Milner ancestors from Lowthorpe?
Also, are you related to a Richard Orgram of Lund who had a wheelwrights shop around 1900?

I can help you with some info on the Milner's and Ogram's here in Ontario Canada. My husband's great grandmother was Vyletta Milner, daugther of Richard Milner. I have a Milner/Ogram Family history book that might be of interest to you.

Sorry to be so long in replying to you. We've had some family health issues to deal with lately so I never even thought to see if anyone saw my posting unitl today. I will see what I can find for you in my copy of the Milner/Ogram Family history book.
